Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Redwood Valley Outdoor Education Project. Our volunteers include parents, naturalists, foresters, retired teachers and other community members with interests in education, science, the environment, children and nature. These generous volunteers and the hundreds of hours they collectively donate every year make RVOEP possible.
Please consider joining us in making this wonderful community project possible. It’s a great way to positively impact young children and our planet.
Volunteers are needed to:
Provide hands-on help with the RVOEP educational program during the school year.
Help preserve, maintain and improve our wonderful 40 acre outdoor education facility in Redwood Valley.
Help organize and facilitate our annual Wildlife Film Series, which provides significant funding to support the RVOEP’s programs.
Serve on RVOEP’s Community Advisory Board.
Along with these examples, we welcome new, creative ideas for volunteering and will work with you to create your volunteer experience.
If you are interested in exploring the possibility of volunteering with RVOEP, please send us an email at mtaylor@uusd.net or drop us a note at PO Box 45, Redwood Valley, CA 95470.
Thank you!
